Step 1 - Apply for Admission at Washington State University 
You must be offered admission for fall 2008 to be eligible for Summer Advantage.
Apply for Admission by submitting your Admission application at http://www.wsu.edu/future-students/admission/apply.html.
Step 2 - Register for Summer Advantage
To register for Summer Advantage you will need to pay the registration fee which covers the costs associated with putting the program together. The advantage fee is $400.
Register On-Line
Complete and submit your on-line registration through the Summer Advantage Web page. You will need a credit card if you are submitting your registration on-line. Your application will not be processed unless you pay the $400 Summer Advantage registration fee during this process.

Register By Mail
Complete and mail us your registration form that you downloaded from the Summer Advantage Web page. You will need to enclose a check or money order for $400. Please note that your application will not be processed if you do not include this fee. Please send the completed registration form and the check or money order to:

Step 3 - Register for Alive! Orientation Session 5
Alive! Orientation is a three day session for new students. It helps you get acquainted with WSU and ready for your college experience. As a Summer Advantage student you will be ahead of the game, but orientation allows you to register for fall semester courses, work with a faculty advisor and connect with other students. During Alive! you will be assigned to an orientation counselor and will get to tour the campus and learn more about WSU. This program is open for parent participation as well.
The cost of attendance for students is $215 and the cost for a parent to attend is $140. Alive! Session 5 occurs from Saturday to Monday June 28 to 30. The orientation will not cut into class time for Advantage students on Monday as the class will be rescheduled for later that day.
Register On-Line
Complete and submit your on-line registration through the Alive! Web page. You will need a credit card and your student ID number. Please note that your registration will not be processed unless you pay the $215 student and/or $140 parent Alive! program fee during this process.
Step 4 - Pay for Housing and Dining by JUNE 15
The cost for housing and dining is $1,110.25. These fees cover the cost of living in McCroskey Residence Hall and a Residence Dining Account (RDA).
Pay On-Line
When you complete and submit your on-line Summer Advantage registration you will have the option of paying for housing and dining at the same time. You will need a credit card if you are submitting your registration on-line.

Enclose a check or money order for $1,110.25 which covers your Housing and Dining fee. You must include the student identification number on the check. Please send the check or money order to:

Step 5 - Pay for Tuition and Fees by JUNE 20
This expense is broken down in the following ways: in-state tution ($2,205.00) or out-of-state tuition ($2,275.00), a Student Recreation Center fee ($51.00), and a Health and Wellness Fee ($52.50). You will need to pay a total of $2,308.50 for in-state or $2,378.50 for out-of-state.
Pay On-Line
You will need a credit card and your WSU student identification number to pay on-line. After clicking on the link to pay on-line, you will want to check the General Payment on University Account box to pay for tuition and fees.

You will need your WSU ID number so your deposit will be properly credited to your account. Stop by the Cashier Windows on campus at:
French Administration Building Room 240 on the Corner of Stadium Way and Grimes Way. The Cashiers are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
