Books and supplies
The costs for books and supplies vary by the student and course during the academic school year. Students will be guided on how to purchase books for Summer Advantage. The cost of supplies/textbooks for the courses has yet to be determined.

Transportation/Miscellaneous expenses
Transportation expenses also depend on the student. During previous years, Summer Advantage students did not travel home on the weekends because of the short duration of the program. The local bus is free to WSU students who show their WSU ID and allows for easy travel into town and around WSU. Many places do not take that long to walk to and in nice, summer weather many students opt to walk into town. Thus, transportation costs should be minimal.

Miscellaneous expenses for toiletries, school supplies, movie rentals, late night pizza delivery, etc., will vary depending on individual lifestyles. Summer Advantage may offer students a Cougar Adventure that uses the University Recreation's Challenge Course. If offered the cost will mostly be covered by the weekend meal money allowance. Student may have to pay an additional $10-$20.

Refunds

Tuition: Tuition is refunded in accordance with the Summer Session refund policy. In order to receive a tuition refund for Summer Advantage courses a student must cancel their enrollment on or before
July 2, 2008.

Program Fee: The $400 Summer Advantage program fee is not completely refundable. If a student cancels on or before June 20 - the Friday before Summer Advantage begins - the student will receive a partial refund of $350.

Housing and Dining Fees: Housing and dining fees are refunded based on the date a student moves out of the residence hall and quits eating in the dining center after withdrawing from the program.
