Criteria
for Admission
You may enroll if you are admitted to
Washington State University as an incoming freshman for fall 2008. Enrolling
in Summer Advantage will put you seven credits ahead of other freshman
when you continue your education in the fall semester. By attending this short, four-week summer session devoted to Summer Advantage students you also gain a better understanding of the resources available at WSU.
Courses
As a Summer Advantage student you will be enrolled in one three-credit and one four-credit university course. Your classes will meet from 8:00 to Noon and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Housing
Information
You
will live in McCroskey Residence Hall with other Summer Advantage
students.
Dining
Information
Experience campus dining by eating
at the Hillside Café, which is right across the street from McCroskey Residence Hall, or at Rotunda. Both dining centers have the ambiance of a swanky, upscale restaurant.
The dining centers offer both set menu items and cook-to-order items.
Parking Information
If you bring your car during
the time you are at Summer Advantage you will have several options for purchasing parking permits.
You may
choose from lots designated for Crimson 1 or Green 2. Click
here to view a parking map. You may also choose to forego a permit and
choose to park on streets close to McCroskey Hall (i.e.
Linden Ave or Campus St.).

There
is so much to do on the Palouse (besides studying). Find out about all the cool things WSU and the Palouse have to offer in July and for the rest of the year.
Rules
and Expectations
As college students you do experience the freedom associated with college, but there are a few ground rules to follow to be courteous to the others around you. Part of college is learning to work and live with others, so Summer Advantage students will work together to agree on community standards in addition to the university standards.
Program Costs
The
cost for Summer Advantage will be published shortly. In-state students students will pay
$3,821.75. The fees are comprised of Summer Advantage
administrative fees, tuition, housing, and dining.
