Criteria for Admission
You may enroll if you are admitted to Washington State University as an incoming freshman for fall 2008. Enrolling in Summer Advantage will put you seven credits ahead of other freshman when you continue your education in the fall semester. By attending this short, four-week summer session devoted to Summer Advantage students you also gain a better understanding of the resources available at WSU.

Courses
As a Summer Advantage student you will be enrolled in one three-credit and one four-credit university course. Your classes will meet from 8:00 to Noon and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Housing Information
You will live in McCroskey Residence Hall with other Summer Advantage students.

Dining Information
Experience campus dining by eating at the Hillside Café, which is right across the street from McCroskey Residence Hall, or at Rotunda. Both dining centers have the ambiance of a swanky, upscale restaurant. The dining centers offer both set menu items and cook-to-order items.

Parking Information
If you bring your car during the time you are at Summer Advantage you will have several options for purchasing parking permits. You may choose from lots designated for Crimson 1 or Green 2. Click here to view a parking map. You may also choose to forego a permit and choose to park on streets close to McCroskey Hall (i.e. Linden Ave or Campus St.).

Schedules
It will be a busy four weeks. Check out all the exciting events - academic and social - that we have planned for you.

Summer Happenings
There is so much to do on the Palouse (besides studying). Find out about all the cool things WSU and the Palouse have to offer in July and for the rest of the year.

Rules and Expectations
As college students you do experience the freedom associated with college, but there are a few ground rules to follow to be courteous to the others around you. Part of college is learning to work and live with others, so Summer Advantage students will work together to agree on community standards in addition to the university standards.
