Outdoor Recreation Center (ORC)

WSU is located near some of the most scenic outdoor recreation areas in the country.  The Outdoor Recreation Center (ORC), located in the field house, offers a variety of programs.  Programs include non-credit classes and trips aimed at allowing students the opportunity to hone existing skills or develop new ones.  Kayaking, canoeing, white water rafting trips and backpacking tours are offered throughout the summer.  A fully equipped outdoor equipment rental shop and a knowledgeable staff make exploring the area an exciting and inexpensive source of recreation.
