No course listed as meeting a General Education Requirement for graduation may be taken pass-fail by an undergraduate student.
A total of six courses may be completed on a pass-fail basis when initiating and completing work for a baccalaureate degree at WSU. The number of pass-fail courses a transfer student is allowed is determined on a pro rata basis.
An adviser’s signature is required to enroll for, add, or change a course from letter grade to pass-fail. Pass-fail enrollment is initiated by the student acquiring the appropriate signature on an Enrollment Change Form. Refer to the "Enrollment Change Deadlines."
