How Do I...?
Balance my Credit Load
The recommended credit load is no more than three credits in four weeks, six credits in six weeks or nine credits in eight weeks.
Because of the short duration of summer offerings, caution should be exercised when selecting the number of credits for each block. For example, nine credits taken in a six-week period is equivalent to 22.5 credits taken during a 15-week semester; six credits in a four-week period is equivalent to 24 credits in a 15-week semester.
Graduate students should contact the Graduate School, French Administration Building, Room 324, Washington State University, PO Box 641030, Pullman, WA 99164-1030, (509) 335-1446.
