New Students
Admission
to Washington State University as a degree-seeking student is not required
for summer session. It is open to all students without regard to
age, sex, race, religion, color, creed, disability, national or
ethnic origin, or marital status.
Students
new to Washington State University wanting to attend summer only apply for admission by completing the Summer
Session Non-Degree application online.
Students wanting to begin during the summer and continue to fall apply through the Office of Admissions by completing an Undergraduate Admission application or by calling
(509) 335-5586. Registration information will be mailed as soon as applications are processed.
Cougar
Card Center (Photo ID Cards)
The “CougarCard”
is the official University identification for all Washington
State University students and employees. The CougarCard is
used for a variety of functions, including library privileges,
Cougar CASH, Residence Dining Account (RDA), riding Pullman
Transit and Commuter buses, use of the Student Recreation
Center, access to athletic events for students who purchased
a sports pass and access to campus offices and buildings.
Students will be issued a CougarCard at the beginning of their
academic career at WSU and they will continue to use the same
card each year. CougarCards are available in the CougarCard
Center, located in the Washington Building, Ground Floor room
G-9-A. Office Hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. For more information,
