for Admission
Students
wishing to begin working towards a graduate degree at WSU during
the summer need to apply for admission
to the Graduate School. Application forms and
instructions are available online at www.gradsch.wsu.edu or will
be sent upon request, by contacting the Graduate School, Washington
State University, 324 French Administration Building, Pullman, WA

Credits
Credits earned during Summer Session at Washington
State University are applied in the same manner and subject to the
same rules and regulations as credits earned during fall and spring
semesters.
Payroll
Deduction
Tuition payroll deductions
are not an option for Summer Session.

Registration begins April 7, 2008 on myWSU.
Research
Opportunities
There are unusually good opportunities for research
during the summer months in a number of departments. Summer
work in the College of Education is planned especially to meet the
needs of teachers and administrators.
Summer
Tuition Due Date
For twelve-week arranged courses, summer tuition
and the S&A fee is due May 23.
TA
& RA Tuition Waivers
Students who are on TA
and RA appointments in the summer are responsible for paying the
S&A fee portion of their tuition (Washington residents pay $68;
non-residents pay $98). The S&A fee is not included in Summer
Session tuition waivers.
What does this mean
to you?
- You need to register
for your arranged courses by May 9.
- If you are on a TA
or RA appointment you need to pay the S&A fee portion of your
tuition by
May 23 (Washington residents $68, non-residents $98).
- If you are receiving
financial aid it will be released by May 5, if your paperwork
was turned in on time and complete, and you are registered for
at least 3 credits before May 5.
Tuition
Non-Resident
Graduate tuition for Summer 2008 is $357 per credit
hour compared to $920 per credit hour during the 2007-08 academic
year.
Resident Graduate
tuition for
Summer 2008 is only $347 per credit hour compared to $378
per credit hour during the 2007-08 academic year.
Students admitted
to the Graduate School and enrolled in professional programs are charged graduate tuition for all courses, including undergraduate
courses numbered 100-499.
